This is my official Project X EvenFlow Shaft Review – Blue and Black models. I have been using these shafts on my driver for multiple weeks at present.
This is my overall feel and how I feel they compare to other options in the marketplace.
In mathematical terminology 10 is an unknown factor. When Project X was commencement launched, it may accept been an unknown shaft visitor, merely non anymore. Project Ten is best known for its steel iron shafts. In 2017 Projection X steel shafts won half-dozen times on the PGA tour. Add to that the vastly popular Project X HZRDUS blackness and yellow shafts in the winners purse 9 times on Bout = Validation. New to 2018 for Project X is a wave of shafts named EvenFlow trying to crash the political party.
The name of the shaft comes from the technology that produces an "fifty-fifty" curve profile which transfers shaft load more efficiently throughout the swing to create maximum energy release at bear upon. What I liked about both shafts was the "even" experience at touch, very crisp and solid. While I really liked this "even" experience, it is somewhat unique, most shafts take a kicking point feel or a distinct transition, merely this have a "whip" sensation that you will observe on the first swing. They matched the pigment to the name of this shaft rather impressively; it has this cool swirl/wave await from top to bottom.
The EvenFlow Blue and Blackness shafts accept about a degree higher Torque and are most 3 grams heavier than the HZRDUS shaft line-up they complement. The weight suited my preferences better than the HZRDUS shafts, which I constitute to be below or to a higher place the right weight for superlative functioning in my swing. The major departure between the shafts was the feel at the top of my swing. The Bluish shaft felt more flexible and I had less control. The Black shaft felt a bit stiffer and more than solid at the transition signal of my swing which is why I believe the numbers were better between the shafts in testing.

Bluish Colour is the EvenFlow Black — Ruby Color is the EvenFlow Blue
The most interesting function about my EvenFlow testing is that the Black is marketed are the lower launch/lower spin and the Blueish is the higher launch/ college spin which proved to exist the opposite for my swing. I believe some of that is the feel in my dorsum swing which allowed me better transition into the brawl getting more optimal numbers with the blackness, even getting higher launch than the blue. This just proves once again the value of plumbing equipment. Non every shaft performs the same for every golfer.
Summary
The Project X EvenFlow Blackness and Bluish shafts offer one of the most unique feels in a golf shaft. Yous will immediately find a different transition, a different kind of smoothen and a dissimilar kind of practiced. Information technology is highly likely that you will observe actually neat results with one of these shafts. They accept been popular in consumer fittings and have been added to a number of pros bags. You might simply want to take hold of the EvenFlow wave and ride information technology to success in your bag.
