The article link posted by Hamid Rezajackob shows how to add fonts to your Android device, only non necessarily to Word for Android.

I have Word installed in my Android tablet and it allows me to choose from a list of several unlike fonts, simply they are completely dissimilar from the five or six fonts that Android, in the same device, allows me to cull from in order to personalize it. It is every bit if they were two separate and unlike sets of fonts to choose from: one to employ with my Word documents and other to personalize the Bone.

I have a ttf font file in my reckoner that allows me to write musical notes (including the pentagram lines) in a Give-and-take document, and I would like to install that font to use information technology in Word from my Android tablet, not to use it to personalize my Android.

So the question nonetheless is, how do I install a ttf font file to utilise information technology in Word from my Android device. I'thou aware information technology may not exist possible to employ the same ttf file that I utilize in my computer, in which case I would need to become another font file that is compatible with Android, but the primary problem at present is how to install a font and make Give-and-take for Android recognize information technology.

Any solutions?

I think I have found a mode to add together a font to Word for Android.  Here is how I did it:

[i]  On my Windows PC, I opened MS Word, and in a new document, I typed a trivial bit of text, and selected the "Wide Latin" font.  For this example, I typed the text "This is the Wide Latin font".  For this example, I used Word 2013, running on Windows 7, and my font was Broad Latin (not available on Give-and-take for Android).

[2]  In Give-and-take 2013, I embed the font in the file, via "File -> Options -> Save", and checked the box for "Embed fonts in this file".  I saved the file as "Wide Latin Font 2.docx".

[3]  I save the Discussion certificate to OneDrive.

[4]  On my Android tablet (I take a Galaxy Tab4), I opened the Word certificate via OneDrive, into Word for Android.

[5]  The font "Wide Latin" now shows upwards on my Android tablet both for "Wide Latin Font 2.docx" AND for NEW Discussion documents.  And my Android tablet displays the Wide Latin font (both on the ribbon, and as I type), every bit shown below:

I hope that the higher up might be of assist.  Withal, I but tried this once, simply it seemed to work for me - possibly some other people might try this on their equipment/software, to encounter if they get the same result that I did.  I suppose it is possible that I am missing something - I just tried the above every bit an experiment, and I was actually kind of surprised at the result that I got (especially the function where the Wide Latin font is available for NEW documents).

half-dozen-19-2017: Information technology is now about ten months since I made the to a higher place postal service, and the Wide Latin font is STILL available for new documents with my Android Tablet.  I simply wanted to mention this, to allow anybody know, that plainly, once the above mentioned steps # i-4 are done, the new Wide Latin font volition PERMANANTLY be in Word, on an Android tablet (at least that was my experience).

Did all of the above, and was looking very hopeful, Give-and-take for Android recognised my new font was imbedded, however it was an unsupported font 'in this version of word'... Bummer.

I am looking to install a Zhu Yin Fu Hao font. So as to interpret Chinese characters into phonetic symbols.

The HanWangKai font opens merely fine and translates well on the Desktop version of Word.

Whatever other bright ideas?
